MMG Communications is a New Zealand registered broadcast and communications business which owns and operates internet service providers (ISP’s) in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
MMG is also a systems integrator and has designed and installed multiple broadcast and Telecom related sites in the Pacific Islands. MMG is privately owned and has extensive relationships across the region and continues to supply satellite, fibre and fixed wireless internet, managed services and power solutions to Government, enterprise and the corporate residential segment in PNG and New Zealand. As an engineering and production company, we have been behind projects such as 2019 Pacific Games and the establishment of TV services to Tuvalu and Kiribati.

MMG has been at the forefront of multiple broadcast projects across the Pacific region for the last 15 years. These include the establishment of Mai TV Fiji, Click TV PNG, Wave TV Kiribati and Tuvalu TV. We have also led the analogue to digital migration of TV3 Samoa, KVZK American Samoa and Vanuatu Broadcasting and VBTC MMG has also provided broadcast solutions.
MMG is a provider of solar based power solutions, particularly to the PNG market. Our solar kits support the 24/7 operation of hundreds of internet sites across PNG's 23 provinces with 100% uptime. Our solutions provide the power that energises satellite internet terminals for critical communications to hospitals, health centres, Government offices and community.
We have developed our firewall appliance with skilled IP engineers to manage hundreds of mostly enterprise customer locations across PNG and New Zealand. In today’s world, Cyber threats are same for all types of modern business. Hence, the firewall used in SOHO, SME & Corporate segments should also support features like enterprise class firewall to protect the network.
MMG was contracted by the Government of Samoa to provide host broadcast services for the 2019 event. MMG supplied over 250 staff and equipment to broadcast 400+ hours in High Definition to broadcasters in the Pacific and globally.
